Our Brass, Woodwinds & Strings (and Percussion) group has been an important part of the music ministry at BAUMC for over 20 years. They make a joyous noise during worship one Sunday each month as well as special times during the year. They rehearse three Saturdays a month in the sanctuary, September through May, from 8:00 - 9:30 am. Anyone grade 7 and up who is experienced at playing an instrument is welcome to join this musical group.

BAUMC has a variety of musical groups that enhance our worship experiences and allow members of all ages to participate in vocal, bell, or instrumental choirs.  Our music program is very strong, and as a result our annual "All-Music Sunday" worship service has become a favorite May tradition here at Belgrade.  The Music Coordinator at BAUMC is Deb Anderson; she can answer any questions about our musical programming.  We would love it if you would like to share your musical talents with us!

Our Chancel Choir praises God in song two Sundays each month, as well as special times during the year. As the oldest continuous musical organization of the church, it strives to perform a variety of styles of church music, from traditional to blended and praise music, to spirituals and gospel music, to favorite hymn variations and new choral music appropriate for all types of worship. The Chancel Choir rehearses in the Sanctuary on Wednesdays from 7:30 to 8:30 pm, September through May. All persons age 9th grade or older are encouraged and welcome to be a part of this choir if they love to sing 4-part music. The ability to read music is helpful but absolutely not imperative.

‚ÄčThe Joy & Praise handbell choir is directed by Deb Anderson. They meet in the Bell Room on Wednesdays from September through May from 6:30 to 7:30 pm. They play mostly medium difficulty music as well as some more challenging music. Some handbell experience is helpful (current members have 2 to 6 years of experience), as well as the ability to read music. The Joy & Praise choir rings during a worship service once per month.
