Serving In Our Community
Belgrade is excited to partner with many local community outreach groups, which as created a variety of areas to serve, including: serving at the local Salvation Army Noon Meal Program, Salvation Army Men’s Shelter and the Theresa House/Welcome Inn, Adopt-A-Highway Program, hosting Red Cross Blood Drives (3 times each year), collecting food for the ECHO food shelf, providing a day of bell-ringing for the Salvation Army’s Red Kettle campaign, collecting needed supplies and money for the Salvation Army Men’s Shelter and Partners for Affordable Housing.
Serving In Our World
On a national and international level, the Outreach Committee is involved in supporting our missionaries in the Dominican Republic (Gordon and Ardell Graner), raising money for or participating in UMCOR projects such as Disaster Relief and Imagine No Malaria, gathering supplies for Flood Buckets, collecting filled shoe-boxes for the Operation Christmas Child ministry.

Belgrade Avenue United Methodist Church reaches out to others on a local, state, national, and international basis with gifts of money as well as time. As written in our church Mission Statement, our goal is to make our community and world more caring and loving. This church is a family devoted to doing God's work in today's world, both inside and outside the walls of our building. Our committee's mission is to express God's love by sharing with and supporting others in our local, national, and world communities.
