Dan Horn was appointed to serve as the Senior Pastor of Belgrade Avenue United Methodist Church in July 2012, after previously serving in Cannon Falls, MN and Thief River Falls, MN. He is a lover of people and finds his strengths in leadership as he encourages and enables his leadership team. His goal is to empower others to lead with him. Pastor Dan has been married for 36+ years to his wife Cheryl, and they have ten children (three still at home). Four of their children are married, and they have ten grandchildren.
Debbra grew up in Arden Hills, MN. She met her husband, Doug, at Mankato State University. They have lived out west in various states for 20 years. They have two adult boys and are enjoying being empty-nesters. They moved back to MN in June 2016 to be near family. Debbra joined the BAUMC staff in September 2016 and enjoys serving the church and community.
Pastor Katie, an ordained Deacon, who is appointed to Belgrade and as the Coordinator of Spiritual Care and Bereavement for the New Ulm Regional Medical Center (primary). Katie and her husband Mike have three children. Katie graduated with her Bachelor of Arts in 1999, and continued her education at Iliff School of Theology, where she graduated in 2003, and then came back to Minnesota in June. She feels blessed with great ministry sites and wonderful congregations who have supported her since 2003! Katie was ordained a Deacon in June 2010, and is currently serving with Belgrade Ave. She has truly enjoyed worshiping, fellowship and getting to know all of you!!
Ken Adams is a Mankato native and a church member who has attended BAUMC since the age of three. He has a Bachelor's degree in English and Political Science from St. Olaf College, and a Master's degree in Counseling & Student Personnel from Minnesota State University, Mankato. Ken currently works at MSUM as an Academic Advisor. He has spent almost twenty years working with technology at the church; his focus is on utilizing technology to enhance the worship experience.
